Elizabeth Wagoner defended her thesis, \"Saving the World, One Electron at a Time: Electrochemical Remediation of Halogenated Pollutants\" and was awarded her Ph. D. She has accepted a job with Exxon Mobile in Philadelphia. Congrats Lizzy!

Dennis Peters and Lauren travelled to San Fransisco where Lauren presented her work on \"Factors That Influence the Reduction of Organic Halides At Silver Cathodes.\"



New Publication

\"Electrochemical Reduction of Decabromodiphenyl Ether at Carbon and Silver Cathodes in Dimethylformamide and Dimethyl Sulfoxide\" is in press at the Journal of Electroanalytical Chemisty. This work was a joint project between Angela Peverly, Erick Pasciak, Lauren Strawsine, Elizabeth Wagoner, and Dr. Peters.
